Hey David, I love Cumulus and for me it is the best DAM system around, especially as an integrator as I can make it sing with the Java API.

However, not sure what comparison web site you talked to, but they don't know their pants form their elbow if they can't deal with this stuff.

An honest appraisal is that all Canto's competitors in the DAM arena (in particular in the B2B and Enterprise environment) support most if not all of the features you list. Each system has it's strengths and weaknesses, including Cumulus, but you are not a DAM system if you don't do most of these things, and there are at least 4 competitors to Canto who I would say have no problem checking these boxes.

All the best,

Colin

Actually, David, following the webinar, attendees were surveyed. One of the questions was, "Was this webinar better than cycling across Califorinia?" A full 100% of respondents answered the question. ;)

Someone will contact you with a link at which you can view the webinar.

Thank you for the interest!

I'm so glad for this! I wish it was a series... including one for a non-developer-type admin of the system, similar to the "power tip" series, but with more detailed instruction. Many of Cumulus's documents are very impressive, but rarely to they actually say HOW to do what they are describing.
